My journey over the past 30 years has inspired me to create this nonprofit organization, the trials and tribulations have been hard, but they have not outweighed the triumphs and the joy.

Britt was born 2 months early weighing 2lbs 3ozs with multiple disabilities by a 21-year-old mother who knew nothing about caring for or raising a special needs child.

I had no resources or support, which forced us to do this alone. Life could have been a lot easier for both of us if I had support from others with experience. 

As a mother, I needed someone to care for me, I just wanted someone to tell me that everything would be ok.

I pray that sharing our journey and providing resources will help strengthen parents and, the system of care will improve outcomes for children with disabilities and special health care needs.
